Reading stats for your CrossPoint reader

Missing the reading stats from CrossInk? Almanac brings reading stats to the official CrossPoint: no custom firmware, and you keep getting official updates.

It's a free plugin. After each reading session your reader sends a short note, and you see your reading time, streaks and progress on the reader and here. It's new and still growing, so things may change or break along the way.

How it works

   Install

   Add the plugin to your CrossPoint reader and turn on Settings › Connectivity › Plugins.

   Sign in

   Open Home › Plugins › Almanac: Reading Stats, choose Sign in and scan the QR code.

   Read

   Read as usual. There is nothing to do while you read.

   Sleep

   When you put the reader to sleep, it joins your Wi-Fi for a moment and sends the session.

• Going to sleep takes a few seconds longer while the session is sent.
• Want them right away? Leave the book and open the plugin: it connects and sends first.
• No Wi-Fi nearby or battery under 20 %? Sessions wait on the reader for the next time.
• Quick peeks don’t count: a session needs at least 10 seconds of reading.

Privacy first

  No account, name or email.

• Only the basics

  The book's file name, when and how long you read, and how far you got.

• Yours alone

  Never sold, shared or shown to anyone.

• No ads

  No cookies or tracking across sites. Visits are counted anonymously.
